I should be able to enter data on the financials tab without opening a modal window

The grids are not user friendly. Having to open a modal window and input data is unpleasant and could be laid out in a better way.
Incomes/liviing expenses are editable inline (with an icon button to edit ownership)
Assets/Liabilities will be cards that are partially editable inline, with double click to edit full details (similar to addresses)
Employment can be similar. First we'll set up an employment card on the person record (semi editable with double click for full edit). And then we can bring the same component into the financial section.

Would it be possible to have the ability to edit employment details e.g income, bonuses etc under the financials tab of the opportunity and whilst inputting that information, select from a dropdown box which specific contact its linked to?
